Economic Impact

Alpek operates 19 plants in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Oman and has more than 4,000 employees. It is a publicly traded petrochemical company, with shares traded on the Mexican Stock Exchange.

In Brazil, it has more than 1,000 employees, including Members and service providers, prioritizing the hiring of local labor. In this way, the company makes an important contribution to the region’s economy, promoting the generation of indirect jobs throughout the plastic chain, the payment of taxes, the purchase of inputs and services, etc.
